Brush Settings

All Brushes in FlipaClip allow you to adjust their look and feel.

  1. Stabilizer
  2. Thickness
  3. Opacity
  4. Color

Stabilizer

This feature will help smooth your lines as you draw. The higher the value, the smoother the line. This option gives a more digital feel to your work compared to lower values. Watch how it is used.

The stabilizer option is only available inside the brush settings panel.

  • Choose the desired brush and tap the "next icon" to access the brush settings.
  • Use the "Stabilizer" slider to adjust the smoothness of the line.

Thickness

There are two ways to adjust the stroke thickness of your brush.

The first way is quick and can be done directly on the stage in the drawing tools bar.

  • Press and hold the "circle icon."
  • Drag upwards to increase the stroke size.
  • Drag downwards to decrease the size.

The second way is using the slider to adjust the value. This can be done directly on the brush settings.

  • Choose the desired brush and tap the "next icon" to access the brush settings.
  • Use the "Thickness" slider to adjust the stroke size.

Opacity

There are two ways to adjust the opacity/visibility of your brush.

The first way is quick and can be done directly on the stage in the drawing tools bar.

  • Press and hold the "color box icon."
  • Drag upwards to increase the visibility.
  • Drag downwards to decrease the visibility.

The second way is using the slider to adjust the value. This can be done directly on the brush settings.

  • Choose the desired brush and tap the "next icon" to access the brush settings.
  • Use the "Opacity" slider to adjust the visibility.

Color

There are two ways to change the color of your brush.

The first way is quick and can be done directly on the stage in the drawing tools bar.

  • Press the "color box icon" to bring up the color picker.
  • Choose the desired color.

The second way can be done from the brush settings panel.

  • Choose the desired brush and tap the "next icon" to access the brush settings.
  • Tap on the "color box icon" to change the color.
