You need to build a movie in order to get an output file. The output file format will depend on what you select when building. Currently there are 3 options. 1. MP4 video, 2. GIF image, 3. ZIP file with PNG images.

This is how you build a movie.

The exported format is h264 with an MP4 container. We always used the same codec. In the earlier versions of the app we did some tweaks to make the video playable and compatible with all video players and social media apps. Our last change was made to the encoding settings around April 2014.

Please make sure the video is long enough, this could potentially help.

All your built movies are stored under the MOVIES tab under the main page. From there you can view and share them.

Hello Duanra! The GIF output size from FlipaClip is capped to 500x280. When you export MP4 video you get a full 1280x720. So when you are converting the MP4 video to GIF on your own you will get a much higher quality GIF since it will contain more pixels.

We are working on a much nicer build screen for FlipaClip. It will allow you to select what quality you want the GIF to come out as. Hope this helps!

That will be perfect !

Hey thanks for reporting the issue. I'm not sure what iOS device that is? Could you let me know how big the canvas size of the project is? Also, you can't build because it crashes?

I thought you were asking the model. However my device is iPad Pro and I tried all of the canvas sizes but it didn't work. And I think it's not crashing, cus it works fine after I click the button called 'make the movie' so I think the button has the problems.
