How to change opacity of a layer?

Can you add an easier way to change the opacity on layers? It’s so annoying when the layer moves instead of the opacity changing!

Hey Josef, yes you are correct. A layer is shared across all frames. So making a layer invisible will make it invisible to all frames. Also, it will exclude that layer when you build the movie. Along with that, removing a layer will remove the layer across all frames! So be careful! :)

Hello,

When you try to change opacity just press and hold where it says % of opacity (100% per default) and just drag your finger straight up or down, don't move it left or right.

Check step by step guide on how to change layer opacity:

1. Click on the layers icon in the lower right part of your screen

2. Press and hold on "100%" on the right side of the layer and just drag it up or down.

Thanks for your request. This is a planned feature. Thanks!

Ah, I think the layer visibility control actually controls across all the frames. Works for me!

This feature has been added to the new FlipaClip v2!

Thank you for having these features on the newer version. But, i'd personally say that the newer version is kinda laggy and seemed to be so new to us. I mean not the version itself, but the platform.. Please bring back the older platform because we were used to it. Thanks

Hi. Just started using the app, and it’s great. I also was looking for layer opacity. Is it implemented yet? If not, is it going to be implemented, and if yes, when? ‘Very soon” is not three years, in my opinion :)

Yes, layer opacity is a feature. If you go into the layer panel; you can hold your finger over where it says '100%' and slide up and down to change the opacity.
