Is the resolution gadget-dependent?

I have a Galaxy Tab A 9.7 with 1024 x 768 and the exported animations are at 850 x 480

Great questions! Yes, the canvas and output resolution is device dependent. The reason we are doing that is to make sure FlipaClip runs as fast as possible on all devices.


So if your device has a screen of width 1280 or larger the default canvas size will be 1280x1080. If your device falls under that the canvas size will be 854x480.

And... is that going to change? Other drawing apps lets you choose, warning of the performance, or limiting the number of layers. I bought my humble tablet thinking it was capable of working with your app... now I must buy tv paint? :(

Yes, we are planning to add custom canvas sizes. No need to buy TvPaint! :P
